CoreStreet-Enabled Physical Access Products
CoreStreet licenses CoreStreet FIPS-201 technology to physical security vendors, such as PACS providers and lock manufacturers, to allow them to build FIPS 201 compliance into their products. Examples of such integration include:
Hirsch Electronics
Hirsch Electronics, a leading supplier of access control and security management solutions, developed a solution for verifying digital identity certificates by integrating both their Velocity Security Management System and RUU Verification Station with CoreStreet's FIPS 201-enabling technology. The integration allows smart card-based identity credentials -- such as the U.S. government's PIV card -- to be verified not only during a spot check at a verification station, but also in an ongoing, near real-time implementation of an access control system using registered credentials.
KABA
KABA E-Plex 5800 series locks and controllers are battery operated, stand-alone electronic units that are CoreStreet-Enabled™ with CoreStreet FIPS-201 technology.
FIPS 201 locks and controllers, for use in securing e.g. access to data center racks, are available through established resellers. And soon, FIPS 201 padlocks, cabinet locks, and safe locks will be available to further extend electronic access control across the enterprise.
BridgePoint Systems
The BridgePoint high-assurance FIPS 201 Readers, Credential Validation System and TrustZone PACS implement digital certificate challenge - response and certificate validation for user authentication. The PACS solution can be combined with CoreStreet-Enabled server extensions to the FIPS 201 PKI validation infrastructure.
